Specific Schedule and field layout are expected to be uploaded Early March. Games are scheduled to start at 9:30am on Saturday. Please arrive no later than 8:45am to meet your team and get your hucks ready.

RULES:

UPA 11th edition are in effect, with the following additions/modifications:
1.     Footblocks are totally legal, except when marking Andy Bandit.
2.     Games to 11. Mirror half at 6.  Win by 2.  Cap at 15.
3.     Soft Cap. Signaled by one horn.  Finish current point then play to the highest score +2.
4.     2 points if the disc is caught with the player’s hat in the end zone.
5.     Hard cap.  Signaled by two horns ten minutes later.  Finish current point then only continue playing if the score is tied.
6.     One timeout per half plus one floater, no timeouts during overtime.  Overtime begins at 10-10.  Time outs are 90 seconds.
7.     The fields should be regulation size, so a brick is 20 yards.
8.     You may substitute up to two players during a time-out.
9.     SPECIAL HAT RULE: You are not an offensive player without your hat on your head.  If your hat falls off, you are now just a very tall blade of grass.  You can still get a D without your hat on, but make sure not to catch your D’s unless your hat is on your head, or else it’s an instant turnover.

  1. What happened to the “you must be wearing a hat to touch the disc” rule? Otherwise you’re just a very tall blade of grass…

That was among my favorite league/tournament modification rules .

  2. That rule was now added.

  3. When will the decision be made about the weather? Are there thoughts of canceling or sadly – moving to the beach? Watching as the rain is falling and I am less than a mile from the fields…

  4. As of now, we’re expecting St. Pat’s to go on without a hitch. The weather report now says no rain Thursday through Sunday, which is awesome, so everything should be good to go.

  5. Checking in on the weather. It’s raining on the west side right now….

  6. Hey guys, mike dow here. Lost some stuff! Looking for an old NE Pats hat and a muscle roller, the orange and black bar type. If you have either of them, please let me know at obidow@mac.com. Thanks!
