Summer 2018Summer League 2018 Interesting Stats

I’ve crunched the numbers from the Summer League registration Excel sheet, and here’s some interesting statistics I thought you might appreciate.

Keep in mind, ALL of the info below is based 100% on your responses to the Summer League registration form.  These are mostly averages from the responses given.  And then the last few are some sillier stats I noticed.

Now who are the oldest and youngest teams in the history of summer league?

That would definitely take quite a bit of research Brandon. Maybe one day if I have some time, I’ll try and figure it out. It’s certainly intriguing.

I’m pretty sure Navy (in 2011 co-ed) would have to be close to the oldest team. Though Scooby Doo this year…

Looks like Scooby (34.4) is the oldest ever by 2 years. I’m calling it a virtual tie for 2nd on my 2015 mens team, Blue Sky Blonde 32.4. vs. McHale’s Navy 32.5 (average age).

Here’s how old Scooby is: I’m accustomed to being the second or third oldest, I’m sixth or seventh oldest on Scooby. More of our men are over 40 than under 40. I believe there 3 or 4 players who have been playing since before 5 or 6 of our players were born.
