The LAOUT board elections were originally scheduled for early October to find 8 new board members. However, at the end of our nomination period, we had 7 nominees, so all nominees will automatically be accepted onto the board and there is no need to hold the elections.
The new board members are Linda “Skipper” Venema, Chelsea Baldemor, Don Macatangay, Alison “Buster” Yoho, Elliot Lamborn, and Greta Becker. They will start their two-year terms in October. Grant Boyd was an existing board member who was up for re-election, so he will also be starting a two-year term. They will all be joining Christi Betz and Jackson Dolan who are both one year into their two year terms and will be up for re-election next year.
