Come play in one of the most fun adult hat tourneys of the year that surrounds SCYU’s biggest youth event of the year, Beach of Dreams!
This year Beach of Dreams features U20 Boys, U20 Girls, and U15 Open/Mixed divisions with teams from Utah, Colorado, NorCal, San Diego, and right here in the greater LA area. In fact, we are super proud to have 6 brand new teams this year from our area: De Toledo HS, The Embers (U15 club), Madrona MS, Montclair HS, Santa Monica HS, & The Center (MS). Make sure to cheer them on! In addition, California Ultimate & USA Ultimate is proud to host the Beach of Dreams Beach Showcase Series featuring 27 of the best players in the country playing 4 different showcase games.
DATE: Saturday, January 4th, 2020
TIME: The current plan is 9:30am-1:30pm, but make sure to stay after to watch and support the youth!
FORMAT: Saturday only; mixed; 4 v 4
PRICE: This is an opportunity to have fun, tune up for Lei-Out, and watch the future of our sport! We want you to be there, so we make this event cheap; but please consider donating $15 to SCYU as you checkout so we can keep teaching more LA area kids how to play the sport we all love.
- $5 for LAOUT Members if registered by January 3rd
- $10 for everybody else if registered by Jan 3rd

EXTRAS: There will be pizza after the hat tourney final round, so please have your captain grab your team’s pies and go cheer on the youth finals and showcase game.
Please be respectful and positive all day; this event is focussed on our youth and they are just starting their ultimate journey. Watch your language and please remember there is no alcohol allowed on the beach. Thank you.
