LAOUT is excited to offer our first Intro to Ultimate league! This league is specifically for adults 18+ who are looking to get into Ultimate for the first time AND existing players who have a general understanding of the game, but want to improve on the basics. Need help holding a defensive mark? Want to work on your flick throws? Never touched a disc before? Great! This league is for you!

WHEN & WHERE
This league will run on Tuesday nights from 8pm to 10pm for 5 weeks starting on 3/17 through 4/14 at the Rancho Cienega Recreation Center 5001 Obama Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90016

DETAILS
Here’s a breakdown of what you’ll be doing each week:

8:00p – 8:20p  Arrival / Warmups
8:20p – 8:55p  Skills clinic
9:00p – 9:50p  Game play
9:50p – 10:00p  Wrap-up

This will be a co-ed league with an even split gender ratio on the field: 2 womxn and 2 men per team. 

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?
You’ll be running around a bit, so bring some water. 

All players should wear cleats. Soccer cleats are best. You can wear whatever athletic clothing you feel most comfortable in, but please bring two shirts – one light and one dark so we can split up into teams. (Leave your gray shirts at home. Gray is often hard to determine between ‘light’ and ‘dark’ when you’re out on the field.)

COST
The cost of this league is $20, but if that is too much, you can decide what you pay. We want to make sure everyone has the opportunity to play Ultimate. If $20 would be a financial burden, you can choose one of cheaper options. If you are in a position to help out, please consider the $25 option to help cover costs for those less fortunate.
