Get your cleats strapped on because this year’s season is fast approaching! Here is some information about the upcoming season and teams in and near Los Angeles! If you are interested in playing at the club level and providing your contact information to team leadership, please fill out respective team interest forms!
What is Club Ultimate?
For those who may not be as familiar, Club Ultimate is one of the original organized formats where teams form locally and compete in tournaments anywhere from locally to nationally. As noted on the USA Ultimate website, over 15,000 athletes compete annually on one of over 600 club division teams.
There are 3 open-age divisions: Mixed, Women’s, and Open. Each team will attend multiple tournaments during the summer and culminate in the postseason “Series” where teams will advance from sectionals to regionals and finally nationals! Teams are selected via a tryout process that is unique to each region and team. Every team has their own unique style and approach, but all look to compete as a team! Additionally there are “Masters” divisions targeted to make Ultimate a lifelong sport that target specific age brackets.
Mixed Team Mixer
The 3rd Annual Mixed Team Mixer will help kickoff the season, happening on Saturday, April 19th from 9:30am to 3pm at Hjelte Sports Center.
