All LAOUT events are subject to cancellation by the League Director or the Board
of Directors. There are various reasons that may cause LAOUT to cancel a
program. Program cancellation may be the result of factors outside of the control
of LAOUT. These may include, but are not limited to: bad weather, loss of field
reservations, or failure of field lighting. LAOUT may cancel a program due to low
registration numbers or other logistical reasons. An entire program may be canceled or a portion
of a program may be canceled. Examples include, but are not limited to, one league game, the
Sunday of a tournament, or the last hour of a clinic.
LAOUT staff and volunteers will do our best to communicate with registered players and or teams
regarding the status of programs. Prior to the program, we will email registrants with as much
advance notice as possible.
Refunds for canceled programs will be handled on a case-by-case basis. LAOUT reserves the
right to provide no refunds, partial refunds, or full refunds to registrants, depending on the
situation. Factors influencing refunds include the timing of program cancellation, the cause(s) of
cancellation, the ability of LAOUT to recover program expenses, and the scope of the
cancellation. Refunds will not be given for the cancellation of any league games due to weather or
field closure. Rescheduling of canceled games may be attempted by the Program Organizer(s);
however, there is no guarantee that any games will be rescheduled.
